Getting to Know CAS
Ijeulu: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
CAS: Hi Ije, my name is Emenike Arinze, but you can call me CAS. I’m the founder and creative director at Casfactory Creations. My journey as a creative began over 10 years ago when I started working on various productions. I’ve been part of many groundbreaking, award-winning projects and have edited some of your favorite music videos. However, my passion for the camera goes way back to my childhood. I was always drawn to the camera, whether it was going to film sets at Independence Layout in Enugu when i was in my teens, or being behind the camera at parties my friends threw. This lifelong passion led me to establish Casfactory Weddings, a division of Casfactory Creations focused solely on weddings.

The Birth of Casfactory Weddings
Ijeulu: What inspired you to transition into the wedding industry and create your own company?
CAS: It all started from a desire to push my creative boundaries and improve myself. Being part of award-winning productions and editing popular music videos was fulfilling, but I wanted to create something that was entirely mine, in an environment that celebrates love. Weddings are perfect for that. They are full of emotion, joy, and unique stories. Casfactory Weddings allows me to channel my creativity into capturing those beautiful moments and producing high-quality photos and videos that our clients can cherish forever. From pre-production to post-production, I personally plan every detail to ensure our work reflects my vision and maintains the highest quality.
Crafting Unforgettable Moments
Ijeulu: What are some of the core values and principles that guide your work at Casfactory Weddings?
CAS: Quality is paramount for us. We strive to go above and beyond to exceed our clients’ expectations. Our commitment to excellence means we pull out all the stops, from using top-tier equipment to employing skilled professionals. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images; it’s about creating an experience. We bring a unique vibe and energy to each project, which I believe sets us apart in the industry. When we take on a wedding, we ensure everything is perfect, from the initial planning to the final product. While I do employ the services of talented creatives, I am deeply involved in every aspect of the process to ensure the final result aligns with my vision.
The Future of Casfactory Weddings
Ijeulu: What are your goals for Casfactory Weddings in the coming years?
CAS: In the next few years, I aim to grow Casfactory Weddings into one of the leading photography and video production companies with offices across the nation. I want to expand our reach and bring our unique style and quality to more couples. Additionally, I’m focused on building a strong online presence with our website, www.casfactoryweddings.com, to make it a top resource for wedding planning and inspiration.
Ijeulu: How do you plan to achieve this growth while maintaining the high quality and personal touch that Casfactory Weddings is known for?
CAS: No company can run alone, and I really rely on the help of others. When I say others, I mean professionals who know their craft. I employ their services, and we work together. I’ve worked with a lot of talented photographers, videographers, gaffers, and other key personnel. I can say I’m blessed to meet the right people. Expanding globally is something I believe is achievable. I do my best to monitor the setting and look of each camera during events. I believe that once I’ve perfected my look, replicating it among editors working for us will be possible.
Ijeulu: How do you go about selecting the professionals you work with?
CAS: Thanks to the digital age, connecting with creatives has become much easier. We often find talent through online portfolios and social media. Once we discuss fees and availability, we can start working together. While it’s true that sometimes you might not get the perfect match, I’ve been fortunate to team up with incredible professionals who share my vision and dedication to quality. When selecting team members, I look for passion, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
Advice for Aspiring Creatives
Ijeulu: What advice would you give to aspiring creatives who want to break into the wedding photography and videography industry?
CAS: When you’ve dared to dream, don’t give up. Keep going until you’ve been able to define yourself and create your world. It’s essential to stay true to your vision and continually improve your skills. Network with other professionals, learn from your experiences, and never stop pushing your creative boundaries.
